Khaki Trench Coat and Leopard Booties
I found a great deal on a trench coat at Banana Republic a few weeks ago (like $30 good!). It's a perfect staple for work; I've seen several coworkers with khaki trench coats also!
I paired the trench coat with the Sloan Skinny Fit pants also from BR. I haven't worn non-athletic pants since 2013, so these are outside of my comfort zone style wise! I still prefer my skirts and dresses, but these have been fun to play around with.
The bell sleeves are a unique aspect of the coat; I had to get them hemmed quite a bit.
For my birthday, I received a pair of Franco Sarto leopard booties. I am in love with them and want to wear them every day! So Comfy they go with a lot of colors/prints.
Crisp Winter Red and Houndstooth
Black and White Houndstooth is a winter staple. There are so many colors it can go with and it can act as a neutral. To add a pop of color, I added a cranberry layering top from Dainty Jewells and paired a fur vest on top. The red signals Christmas, but the white fur vest and houndstooth skirt from Talbots tone it down, so it can be worn into January.
The pictures were taken before the Chiefs lost on Saturday! Crown Center and many of the fountains around KC turned red in preparation for the Wild Card game.
The bell sleeves on this top dress it up for work or weekend fun. Paired with a fun skirt a cool piece of jewelry, it will transition effortlessly.
