Velvet for Christmas

While in St. Louis back in October, I stopped at Ann Taylor and fell in love with this Velvet Floral Shift Dress. I knew it would make a great dress for Christmas parties. I’ve worn it to a Christmas concert, the Lessons & Carrolls service at church and a work dinner party-all in the past 9 days!

The material is soft and warm and the gathered sleeves are comfortable for work or eating out. I’m usually not a fan or boat necks, but this one fit the dress style and was comfortable. I usually get cold at work and in restaurants, but not in this dress. I’m excited to wear it the rest of the Christmas season!

I’ve been wearing my grandmothers trench coat this month. The tweed is dressy and goes with almost anything.
